I chose a career as a hairstylist because I knew early on that a traditional 9-5 job was not for me; I'm a task completion kind of gal.  Being a hairstylist meets my need to be creative with my ability to listen and motivation to work hard.  I am in full control of my success or my failures.

The best part of my job is helping people feel good in their own skin.  Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing a client light up when they look at themselves.  So much of our lives, especially as women, is much with a negative feeling when we look at our reflection in the mirror.

You may not know this about me, but I have a Bachelor of Fine Science from the University of Oregon, and a minor in Business Admin.

When I'm not working you can find me at the gym getting sweaty, daydreaming new ways to decorate an interior space or snuggled up with my cats.
